Mathew and Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s father and sister) have launched a new toy line to help kids learn through music.
Dubbed “Baby Jamz,†this musical toy line is the first ever hip-hop/rhthym-inspired preschool toy line that promotes learning, creativity, and movement through music. Solange can be heard singing many of the nursery rhymes featured with the toys and on the accompanying CD. And that cute little boy on the packaging? That’s Solange’s son, Julez.
Baby Jamz Boom Box Shape Sorter
The Baby Jamz Boom Box Musical Shape Sorter engages children to complete three different hip-hop nursery rhymes. The little one has to place square, triangle and circle LED light-up blocks in the right order. Microphone has three buttons that a child can press to emit cool add-in sounds to each song. The boom box looks like an adorable “DJ”!
Baby Jamz CD, Nursery Rhymes Volume 1
Baby Jamz CD Nursery Rhymes Volume 1 includes new versions of nursery rhyme favorites such as “This Old Man,” “Old MacDonald,” and “Skip To My Lou” to name a few. Solange Knowles has given her beautiful voice to the line as she sings many of the nursery rhymes played on the CD.
Baby Jamz Mix Master Music Chair
Let your child be a DJ with the Baby Jamz Mix Master Music Chair. Four numbered light-up buttons deliver cool add-in sounds to the child’s choice of nursery rhyme. Kids can create several renditions of each nursery rhyme by pressing three different light-up buttons.
The Baby Jamz “cell phone” offers a new way to keep baby amused. It plays music when the little one presses down on one of the two large buttons. Songs include “Old MacDonald,” “Buckle My Shoe” and “Mary Had A Little Lamb.”
